Advocacy, Policy, Visual & Strategic Communications Professional

I am an advocacy, policy, and strategic communications professional with over five years of progressive experience working across national, regional, and global NGOs and INGOs.

My work focuses on positioning communications as a strategic function that supports policy engagement, programme effectiveness, and organisational credibility. Across my career, I have worked on issues including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV, gender justice, climate justice, education financing, and youth agency. I have supported organisations to communicate on politically sensitive and highly regulated issues, ensuring that advocacy remains effective, ethical, and risk-aware.

My experience spans advocacy campaigns, high-level dialogues and convenings, donor communications and visibility, editorial leadership, and digital strategy. I have worked closely with programme teams, leadership, donors, community actors, and policymakers to translate research evidence, lived experience, and youth demands into narratives that resonate across decision-making spaces. I am particularly interested in work that sits at the intersection of policy, power, and people — where communications is not just about visibility, but about enabling better decisions, stronger partnerships, and more accountable systems.
